— PRODUCT DETAIL / TIANXIA GONGCHANG
Tianxia Gongchang · AI factory data platform
Products, capacity, credentials, and decision-maker contacts for 4.8 million Chinese factories. Sales use it to find customers, sourcing to find suppliers, developers to call it over MCP / API.
Tianxia Gongchang is the core product of In-Equal — a factory data layer. We reconstruct factories’ real business activity from fragmented public data and reorganize it along the way each user actually works.
Who it’s for
People selling to factories. If you sell industrial raw materials (steel, chemicals, plastics, textiles), machine tools, motors, valves and injection-molding equipment, industrial software (ERP, MES, PLM), supply-chain finance, export insurance, logistics and customs services, staffing and technical training, or certification and compliance consulting — your customers are factories and your day is spent finding new ones to call.
People sourcing from China. Procurement, sourcing, supply-chain, and compliance teams: find plants that can hold a spec, compare across an industrial-belt cluster, and check scale, credentials, operating status, and export experience before making contact.
People embedding this data. Developers and AI clients call factory search, detail, contacts, deep-dive research, and natural-language search directly over the open platform’s MCP or REST interface.
The problem it solves
A factory’s real business activity isn’t in the registry record:
| What you actually need to know | What a registry lookup gives you |
|---|---|
| What this factory is producing today | The “scope of business” filed at registration |
| Production capacity, equipment level | — |
| Main customers, procurement categories | — |
| Decision-maker, how to reach them | Legal representative’s name |
| Recent hiring, expansion, funding signals | — |
Anyone handed a registry-export lead spends hours filling in background before the first call — work that shouldn’t be done by hand.
How it works
AI agents reconstruct several real-business profiles for each factory:
- Real products — from product pages, patents, spec sheets, bid records
- Real capacity — inferred from plant photos, equipment lists, hiring posts, bid history
- Real customer structure — aggregated from partnership announcements, case studies, PR copy, trade-show directories
- Real activity signals — currently hiring, recent partnership announcements, presence of export business — cross-validated into a read on where the plant stands right now
The data is then organized along concrete working scenarios: downstream customers, substitute suppliers, industrial-belt clusters, plants matching a specific standard, and lookups of one named company.
Five steps of conversational search
Type a sentence — “Find injection-molding factories near Shanghai with 50M+ annual revenue and automotive customers” — and the agent does five things in sequence:
- Intent extraction — separating the three search intents (find customers, find suppliers, look up a company) from “advice needed” and casual chat
- Industry mapping — translating “injection-molding factory” into sub-industry codes, including township-level non-standard classifications
- Multi-dim filtering — geography, capacity, customer type, export presence, contact quality
- Relevance ranking — ordering 4.8 million factory profiles
- Insight generation — capacity distribution, industrial-belt clusters, common features across the result set
Data depth
| Dimension | Number |
|---|---|
| Factory profiles | 4.8 million |
| Anonymized decision-maker contacts | 13.95M phone + 5.6M WeChat |
| Export-business markers | 1.08 million |
| Sub-industry niches | 1,965 |
| Industrial-belt coverage | 1,000+ (including cross-city / cross-province township clusters: Dainan-Shiyan, Shengze-Puyuan, Jingjiang shipbuilding, Huantai Maqiao, Hangji, etc.) |
| Update cadence | Registry, contacts, bid records, partnership announcements all updated continuously |
Business model
On the platform, you pay per phone-number lookup:
- Free search — anyone can search without registration; the full factory list is visible
- Trial quota via WeChat add — register and add the support contact to receive a few free lookups
- Monthly / annual / lifetime memberships — starting from ¥768, with different lookup, company-view, and export quotas
- Per-record export — tiered pricing, ~¥0.6 per record at 1,000 records
On the open platform, you pay per call: search, detail, contacts, deep-dive, and natural-language search are each priced separately, and repeat contact lookups on the same company inside the dedup window aren’t charged twice.
Platform subscribers are mostly B2B salespeople in manufacturing — industrial-supply trading, equipment manufacturing, industrial software, supply-chain finance, export services. Open-platform customers are developers and AI clients embedding this layer in their own products.
Where we sit
- Qichacha / Aiqicha / Tianyancha for the company-lookup layer — we work the production-capability layer above it
- ZoomInfo / Apollo.io for sales intelligence — we focus on Chinese manufacturing
- Xiaoshouyi / Fenxiang etc. for CRM — we sit upstream, providing the lead data layer
- 1688 / Hui Cong / Made-in-China for the find-a-factory step — we run no marketplace and no storefronts; we do the factory data, the verification, and the API on top of it
